After 300 attempts over the 20 rounds of the winter league we finally have the first birdie on the fourth! Well done to big Mark.
In his own words
I had hit a bit of early form so was feeling good. However the driver was not going too well, but David W kept telling me I need to love it, so I decided to carry on using it.
Hit a bit of a ugly low one, but it was down the middle about 5 yards behind Arthur.
As we were off the yellows it left me with 140 yards to the front but we had a strong wind behind. A 9 iron almost did not hold the green with the wind.
Long putt about 25ft. Bit of Right to left that I accounted for and in the hole.
