Wet and Windy Medal

7 am start for Pete L, Tony and Dr G in the May medal – and round in 3 hours to show it can be done, quite easily.

Horrible conditions, the forecast ‘light rain’ becoming slashing heavy rain with strong wind against on the back 9. Hard old slog, soaked through by the finish.

Tony’s  solo luge down the slope off 15th tee would have amused big Pete. Pete L now showing how a longer swing reduces the range of launch angles, altogether looking more in control.

Stop Press : Dr G beats first-hole blues!! Par! And second and third, then double bogey 4, and 5 and 6 ….
